Seven Days in New Orleans - Reagan Is Bound for New Orleans Wednesday May 20

New Orleans' Mississippi Riverfront
Reagan is Bound for New Orleans Wednesday, May 20 -- Excitedly looking forward to spending seven days in New Orleans at the Hilton Riverside Hotel.  After my five day visit to New Orleans last August 2014, I knew I wanted to return for a even more leisurely visit to this great city in my home state.  I actually lived in this city September 1964 to June 1965 so for me this is home.  Also, it is a great starting place for me for Amtrak adventures since there are three separate trains departing New Orleans 1) City of New Orleans to Chicago, 2) Crescent to Washington, DC/New York, and 3) Sunset Limited to Los Angeles.  After spending a week in New Orleans, I will depart Wednesday, May 27, on an 11 day Amtrak adventure to Glenwood Springs, CO; Emeryville(San Francisco), CA; and Denver, CO.  I will stay two nights in each of these cities. I will fly home from Denver Saturday, June 6.
