Merry Christmas 2019

Merry Christmas

Memories of Reagan's 2019 Travel

I've actually been home in Tennessee since returning from my October trip to my home State Louisiana. And I'll be here until February 21, 2020. I will fly Southwest Airlines to Chicago, IL, from where I will depart on Amtrak's California Zephyr to Emeryville(San Francisco), CA for a five night Winter Break staying at the Hyatt House Hotel. I will then return on Amtrak's California Zephyr back to Chicago and a Southwest Airlines flight home to Nashville, TN. Yes, I've made this same trip a few times. The California Zephyr is my favorite Amtrak train and Emeryville is one of my favorite destinations so this a a "get away" trip. Trip dates will be February 21 to March 7.

Since there is a long break from October 2019 to February 2020, I've selected several photos representing my 2019 travel highlights to share as you and I celebrate Christmas and the upcoming New Year 2020. Hope you enjoy.

I've planned two more trips in first half of 2020April 16-30 I be riding Amtrak's Texas Eagle/Sunset Limited/Coast Starlight from Chicago to Emeryville via St. Louis, Dallas/Fort Worth, TX, San Antonio, TX, El Paso, TX, Tucson, AZ, and Los Angeles. After a few days in the Bay Area, CA, I will ride Amtrak's California Zephyr back to Chicago. I will fly Southwest Airlines from Nashville, TN, to and from Chicago.

May 12-19 I will fly home to Shreveport, Louisiana, via American Airlines. While there I will be attending my friend Macy's high school graduation and also visiting with my Louisiana family. Will return home from Shreveport to Nashville via American Airlines.

No plans at this time for the last half of 2020. I do know that this being my 79th year, my travels are slowing down.

I hope for you at this season is that you celebrate the birth of Jesus with a renewal of faith and you Turn Your eyes upon Jesus, Look full in His wonderful face and the things of Earth will grow strangely dim in the light of His glory and grace."
