King Kamehameha Statue |
Honolulu Landmarks, Flowers, Cruise Ship, Shave Ice and Sunset - After a restful relaxing Friday, I was out today(Saturday) traveling on THE BUS and walking to downtown Honolulu to see the Hawaii State Capitol, the Iolani Palace, King Kamehameha statue, other government buildings. Also photographed some flowers as I visited the landmarks. From these landmark locations I walked toward the "water" and found the cruise ship NCL Pride of America in port. While in the area I did reserve and purchased passage for Sunset Dinner Cruise Monday night on the Navatek small ship. I'll look forward to that sunset cruise.
More walking and short THE BUS ride to the Ward Center and the Waiola Shave Ice store for another great shave ice. After the shave ice, another THE BUS ride and walking to the Royal Hawaiian Shopping Center food court and early dinner at Panda Express. Then more walking back to the Hilton Hawaiian Village Starbucks for coffee and rest before returning to my room. Ending the day with another great sunset and watching the departure of the cruise ship on its next week's journey around the islands of Hawaii.
Looking forward to another Sunday attending Sunday School and Worship at University Avenue Baptist Church and one last visiting time with Phillip and Lauren Hasha.
