October 4 — Chicago
Early morning flight to Chicago and quick shuttle got me to Chicago Union Station by 11 AM. After a nice cloudy day walk and eating a Chicago hot dog, I’m back in the sleeping car passengers lounge waiting for my 3 PM Amtrak Southwest Chief departure.
