Amtrak Adventure April 11, 2017

Arrived Washington DC around 11 AM. The ride on the Amtrak Crescent was good with excellent service and camaraderie with sleeping car attendant  and dining car crew. Enjoyed breakfast crossing Lake Ponchartrain, lunch in Alabama, dinner in Georgia, and final breakfast in Virginia. Walked around Unon Station and outside to view Capital dome and now hanging out in the Acela Lounge waiting to depart on Capitol Limited 4;05 EDT. Here are a few pictures. 

 

 

They pulled off my Diesel engines to replace with electric powered engine for continuing on to New York.
